On the fertile slopes of Mount Elgon, near the mist-laced waterfalls of Sipi in Uganda’s Kapchorwa District, coffee grows in dramatic highlands rising as high as 2,500 meters. This breathtaking altitude, combined with cool mountain air and rich volcanic soil, creates the perfect environment for slow-growing, flavor-rich beans.
Grown from prized Bourbon varietals—SL14, SL28, and Blue Mountain—and cultivated by smallholder farmers, these cherries are fully washed and sun-dried, allowing for clean, balanced development in both structure and flavor.
The result is a light-bodied, medium roast with mild acidity and a refined profile. Expect delicate floral aromas, deep chocolate tones, and subtle layers of dark fruit that unfold gently with each sip. It’s a coffee of quiet complexity—elegant, smooth, and beautifully drinkable.
