High in the volcanic highlands of Kintamani, Bali, where mist rolls gently over lush terraces and ancient temples watch over the land, something extraordinary grows. Here, in the nutrient-rich volcanic loam soil between 1,200 and 1,600 meters above sea level, smallholder farmers—many working the same land as generations before them—hand-pick heirloom varieties like Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor.
Bali's unique approach to coffee is deeply rooted in tradition. Farmers cultivate their crops using Subak Abian, a centuries-old Balinese cooperative farming system guided by spiritual harmony and environmental balance. The result is a coffee that reflects both reverence for the land and mastery of the craft.
Each cherry is handpicked at peak ripeness, then wet-hulled—a process unique to Indonesia that enhances body and depth—before being sun-dried on raised beds, kissed by the tropical air. This careful, time-intensive method brings out bold, indulgent flavors.
In every cup, you’ll taste deep notes of dark chocolate, rich molasses, and brown sugar, wrapped in a smooth, velvety finish. It’s a comforting, full-bodied experience with just enough edge to wake your senses.
This is more than coffee—it’s a story of culture, craft, and the magic of a Balinese sunrise.
